Batman & Joker.

Bang! Batman and Joker. Eye to eye.

Joker - Batman Hush (6-inch DC Direct)

This is a pretty cool old-skool Joker. Purple suit, make-ups and all. Comical, yes. But then again, this is the Joker. I like the details on the evil grin on the face and wavy hair. Bang! Bang! You're dead.

Joker in Nurse Costume (12-inch)

Words cannot describe it. It has been with me for a while now but was just too lazy to upload the photos. There probably would never be a licensed release, so here he is. Joker in the nurse costume. Awesome.

The many faces of The Joker.

Heath Ledger won the Best Supporting Actor role at the Oscars today. He was that good. RIP.

Right after the win, Hot Toys announced that it will be releasing the Joker, Policer Officer version with a clean face. Damn, the scars look awesome. Still, where is the nurse version? Probably not going to be released. Would need to kitbash it one day.

Joker - Bank Robber (12-inch Hot Toys)

This is the ultimate Joker headsculpt. No doubt about it, it is spot-on. Apparently the 1st Joker's headsculpt was slightly "out" because the headsculpt was completed before The Dark Knight came out. Now, it is all pretty awesome. By the way, I really love the mask. In fact, I prefer to have the mask on. More sinister looking.

This Joker has class. Now, let's enjoy the pain.

Joker on Joker.

I've received my Bank Robber Joker but I have yet to take it out from the box yet. However, I've done something else. I took the new head sculpt from Bank Robber Joker and put it on the head of the 1st Joker from Hot Toys.

Joker 1st version.

New head sculpt looks more realistic and menacing. Awesome. By the way, I just realised recently that I am missing one button on the Joker's jacket. Not sure if it was not there in the first place or somehow I lost it. Damn. Still, Joker 1st version is a class act.

Joker (12-inch Hot Toys)

Ladies and gentle-man, this is it. The late's Heath Ledger's take on Joker has to be one of the most brilliant performance ever to grace the big screens. And I am not joking (no pun intended). In terms of comic characters coming to life, this Joker is the greatest of all time. Hopefully it does get nominated for the Oscars.

So, did the Hot Toys Joker figure live up to the lofty expectations of the fandom? My answer is a resounding yes! This figure is way awesome. In fact, given the 12-inch that I have (not my tool, ladies), this is the best 12-inch on the shelves right now at home. OK, I don't own many 1/6 figures, but this surely sits on the top of the pile. The cream of the crop.

I really like the face scuplt and paint. Some said it doesn't look like Heath Ledger, but who cares. The powdered and scarred face looks bloody real to me. Not to mention the clothings. Dude has 3 layers of clothing. Real kind of Hot Toys. As for the accessories, they are nothing to shout about but the Joker itself is a must-have for any comics fans. For any Dark Knight fans. In fact, for any 12-inch fans (again, not my tool, ladies).

If there is only one 1/6 figure you need to purchase this year, this is it. Well, until the Bank Robber Version comes out anyway. We'll see then. I sure hope Hot Toys come up with the Nurse Version. That will make my wet dreams all come true.

Haha Hehe Hoho...
