Bumble-"freakin"-Bees.

Enough said.

Bumblebee (Takara-Tomy - Canon Bumblebee)

I find this Bumblebee to be pretty awesome. Those canons look menacing. I never liked Bumblebee the character. Find it rather childish. But this Bumblebee sure looks pretty awesome. As a robot, Bee sucks arses. That is why I don't bother to transform it to robot mode.

Bumblebees alert!

Three (3) butt-kicking Bumblebees. So, what are the difference between the Takara-Tomy version and the Hasbro version? I'm not touching on the battle-damaged effect here. There are basically 5 minor differences.

1. Takara-Tomy painted the door handles. Hasbro doesn't.

2. Takara-Tomy painted the fuel tank cover. Hasbro doesn't.

3. Takara-Tomy painted the windshield wipers. Hasbro doesn't.

4. Takara-Tomy version has a number plate at the back of the vehicle. Hasbro doesn't.

5. Takara-Tomy version feels slightly-rough when touched. Hasbro is sleek smooth. I prefer the rougher version.

Still, it doesn't matter, does it?

Bumblebee (Hasbro - Battle-damaged 5th Gen. Chevrolet Camaro)

This the the one that started it all. This is the source of it all. Battle-damaged Bumblebee. To my utter suprise, this Hasbro toy is superbly painted and the battle-damaged effects just blow me away. Virtually similar to the 5th Gen. Camaro version, the only difference is well.... the battle-damaged effects. Incredible shite we have here. Not to mention the ever-cool automorphing technology. This is one battle-hardened car. Respecta.

Bumblebee (Takara-Tomy - 5th Gen. Chevrolet Camaro)

This is the Takara-Tomy Bumblebee from the Transformers movie. It is a 5th generation Camaro and this car really kicks serious arses. Really good paintjob in vehicle mode. Like I mentioned earlier, I don't like it in robot mode. Very detailed. Awesome is an understatement. Not only that, the automorphing rules too.

I bought Takara-Tomy's version because at that point of time, I couldn't find Hasbro's version. In fact, anybody who's a fan would know that Takara-Tomy would have better quality control as compared to Hasbro. No regrets. Again, awesome is an understatement.

Bumblebee (Hasbro - 1976 Chevrolet Camaro)

I never liked Bumblebee. Thought it is a weak character and not hardcore enough. Then again, came the battle-damaged Bumblebee. And I have a soft-spot for anything that is battle-damaged. Damn, I'm hooked. So, I ended up with 3 Bumblebees.

Let's start with the original old-skool 1976 Chevrolet Camaro. I love this so-called junk. Just old-skool enough for me. And it can freaking transforms into a robot. Even utilises the automorphing technology. Personally, I prefer Bumblebee in its vehicle mode. Looks cooler that way. A pimped-out love ride.

Even robots have balls. Maybe not.
